THE PHONIX is a 9-piece Canadian band from Vancouver BC that play all your Motown Funk Soul R&B favorites. This time machine will take you on a journey through 4 decades of golden classics: songs that we love, songs we grew up with, songs that paved ways for the music industry we know today. With its exciting choreography memorable melodies and a horn section, we will keep you dancing all night.
IT'S PHONIX... NOT PHOENIX
"It's the Phonix, not Phoenix," we said, grinning, to yet another client who thought our band was named after the legendary bird that rises from the ashes. Coincidentally, Phönix does mean phoenix in German... but we're not German. In fact, we are your live and local friendly neighborhood Vancouverites who graduated from Capilano University together. This is how the band was formed. We even have a software company now!
